Police Seek Suspect Accused Of Breaking Vehicle Window, Stealing Items In CT

Police are investigating after a suspect reportedly broke into a vehicle in Connecticut and stole items.

The incident happened on Pompey Hollow Road in the Windham County town of Ashford between 10:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, according to a report from Connecticut State Police on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

The vehicle's front driver's side window was broken and items were reportedly taken.

Police said a similar incident was reported on Ashford Center Road a short time later.

The suspect's vehicle was described as a red 2004 to 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix with a misuse Massachusetts registration plate "3AC899," State Police reported.

The car was last seen on Hartford Pike (Route 101) in Dayville, police said.

Authorities asked anyone with information about the case to call Trooper Godwin at 860-896-3200, ext. 8007.
